TIM LAXTON

Physiotherapist with 13 years’ experience across private practice, hospital and home-care settings. Strong musculoskeletal and post-operative rehabilitation background, with an exercise-based, patient-centred approach focused on restoring comfort, building strength and improving function.

After graduating from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2012, Tim worked in both hospital and private practice settings, and went on to run his own physiotherapy practice in Johannesburg before relocating to Mauritius in 2021 to take up the role of Head Physiotherapist at Fidere Clinic in Mauritius.

Tim has a strong interest in combining hands-on therapy with targeted strength-based rehabilitation to help patients recover well, move confidently, and reduce the risk of recurring injuries. He is passionate about treating the root cause of a problem, not just the symptoms, and enjoys working with a wide range of patients to help them get back to doing what they love.

Tim is excited to begin this next chapter in Brisbane and to support the local community with high-quality, practical physiotherapy care
